- Belt 1 or 1.5 inch wide (2 or 3.5 cm wide) - to spot your Waist line.

- Washable Marker/Pen - to mark your skin. The most important is to don't loose measured spots.

- Mirror - to control level of measuring tape & correct posture.

Important to remember for any kind of measurements!!

A) Always Stand up at correct posture:

- Stand tall & straight with feet hipbone width apart. Keep arms relaxed & down. Keep head straight.

- Hold stomach in but do not hold your breath.

- Relax and breathe evenly.

B) Look into the mirror to correct your posture if necessary.

C) The measuring tape around your body should fit as closely as possible, but comfortably & not too tight. Check that the tape measure does not droop at the back.

D) Make sure that the tape measure is even and level (all horizontal measurements parallel to the floor, all vertical measurements - straight up/down).

E) Always re-measure 2 or 3 times the same place to insure that numbers are accurate. Write them down or let somebody write them down for you.

Your Natural Waist line will be on 1-2 inches higher belly button.

- Wear the belt 1 - 1.5 inch wide (2.5 - 3.5 cm wide) over elastic & tight it normally.

- Tighten your belt where you feel soft "empty" space between your upper hips & lower ribs. This spot is your Natural waist. If you have extra "puff", please tighten the belt with reduction in this area.

D) Your Waist line is the bottom edge of the belt.
